Undoubtedly, a place of erudition like no other. The facilities are, whilst somewhat preserving of the school's heritage, first class, and the school's academic faculties are virtually unmatched in any other Victorian school. Of especial note is the school's English faculty, which consistently produces multitudes of students in the topmost echelons of VCE English and VCE Literature.

Ganapathi Sankararaman @ 1016, Senthil K @ 801, Magesh Kanna @ 611 & Sobee Muthu @ 1013 were also here prior to arrival of Sridhar Mahal @ 513.. Anyhow, this is being renamed to Satyam Towers to commemorate the fact that often most residents are Satyamites..

Satyam's official residential building - apt name since it houses so many Satyamites in Melbourne who work in offices in Lonsdale St, Melbourne Central and Collins Street offices..

The fairie's tree! Oh how this place is wonderful. Some punks have tried to burn it, but it still stands. This little park is a loverly place to walk, however mind the cigarette butts and condoms littering the ground.

I wonder if my pet Huntsman Spider, Randolph, is still alive in the top floor of the rooms closest to the technical center. He was a quite nice spider.
  • Newman College Library, AluraRose (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
The tech center? I think not. It's a wonderful place to be. The library is quite large, and the 4th floor contains a couple piano practice rooms that are more than incredible to lock yourself away in for hours.

A place where Mentone Grammar 9 to the power of 4 program, term 3, 2006 students stayed at after being kicked out of the near by park area at the end of collins street. They stayed in the dome area to be precise which had been a hand picked 2nd option if we were to be kicked out of our camping zone which was at the end of collins street. This dome part of the Missions to Seamen motel/something like a motel, was under construction at the time and made for a great place to die/or something along the lines. Otherwise a great memorable hike through from footscray(known as fooliscray to the boys doing the hike) to toorak and back home to school. This log is in tribute to the great teacher Dan Crozier(hope that's spealt correctly) who was one of the two teachers who took 20 students for a gruelling hike showing us the contrast between the poor side of town and the wealthy side of town.
